Goodbye Karlo Tearing up the OCE scene with Team Immunity, culminating in an appearance at the ESL One Cologne Major in 2015, Karlo “USTILO” Pivac joined the Renegades not long after iM teammate Yam. No one could know immediately that the core of founding members jks & AZR with USTILO would go on to establish Australia’s longest presence in the increasingly-competitive North American scene. Known for his sometimes-rash but hyper-aggressive playstyle, Karlo exposed his opponents in the least comfortable way. Entry-fragging is a dirty job but USTILO grew into the role and, depending on the opposing team, could very quickly dominate the game almost on his own. Creating space across the map even in death, he opened up T sides for the Renegades and won crucial rounds just about on his own. 550 maps in and 9860 kills including 9 aces, 127 4-kill rounds and 6582 multi-kill rounds, USTILO still remains an unpredictable threat to opposing teams especially with the AK. Undoubtedly his moment came in the StarSeries Shanghai final against Virtus Pro - his 1v3 on Train kept the rounds rolling against the Poles and just about won the second map and trophy for the team. USTILO is a true pioneer of Australian CS:GO and his contribution to the organisation is legendary & will never be forgotten. One a Renegade, always a Renegade. - - - Written by Nicholas “Taffy” Taifalos @TaffyAU on Twitter
